“KPop Demon Hunters” Slay the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Circuit

On Friday night, during the Jingle Ball 2025 on iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, fans waved glow sticks to the soundtrack of the global phenomenon’s animated film. Demon Hunters KPop played on the screen. The crowd began to sing and scream in unison as the lyrics to “Take Down” played as a warm-up for the eventual “big event”.

People were on their feet and several kids were doing dance routines from the seats as another song from the film was introduced. K-pop artist Kevin Woo, who provided the voice of Mystery Saja, made an appearance and performed “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol” to an adoring crowd. Every time the chorus was played, many cheered, “You’re my soda! My little soda!”

Woo, who is part of UX1, a sub-unit of his former group U-KISS, says it was a surreal moment to be there at Jingle Ball, where he attended and performed for the first time. He performed both on the pre-show and on the main stage.

“It’s like a dream come true, another core memory unlocked,” she says on the red carpet after her performance. “This is going to last a lifetime and singing ‘Soda Pop’ and ‘Your Idol’ on the main stage was so surreal because everyone was singing and dancing. It was such a moment.”

EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami who sing HUNTR/X appeared on stage for a performance of the Grammy nominated song “Golden”. The audience went wild as the lights faded, with pyrotechnics on display as the trio sang the chorus.

This again demonstrated the global and cultural impact Demon Hunters KPop in the mainstream media, reaching the masses. The film franchise is the first ever part of the annual music festival, which has since expanded into a tour. Tea Demon Hunters KPop Sing-Along will be at almost every stop, with Woo joining in at a few stops.

For the girls – EJAE, Nuna and Ami, it was the only scheduled appearance at the concert. The audience who attended this event were the first to witness this performance on the West Coast. The trio first performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and then at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Los Angeles iHeartRadio Jingle Ball was the third time the girls performed their set.

“Personally, I was very nervous, but this is by far the best thing I’ve personally ever done,” Ami says on the red carpet.

Rocking a stunning red dress that required her to shrug to move, Nuna found it great to be among the adults and children jamming to her performance. Many wore HUNTR/X and Saja Boys costumes and T-shirts.

“It was so cool to see people jumping at the same time from the angle (we were inside),” says Nuna. “It’s been crazy. We feel blessed to be here.”

As this was her third public appearance, EJAE felt great. He smiles, “It’s getting more comfortable every time.”

The chemistry between the three is palpable on stage and on the carpet as they greet photographers and journalists. Their clothes were gorgeous, all in red, each one reflecting their personality. It’s like they’ve always been a girl group, even though they all met almost six months ago. Even as she helps Nuna navigate the carpet carefully, the trio genuinely cares for each other.

“We have different locations and settings every time,” Ami says of each performance. “Every move and direction is a little different. They are such talented individuals and they work so hard. It was just a piece of cake.”
