Critics and Rotten Tomatoes users curse “The Witcher” season 4

Charmer Season 4, which replaces Henry Cavill with Liam Hemsworth, received a harsh reception Rotten tomatoes critics and users.

As with the greatest literary characters, I pass the torch with respect for the time spent embodying Geralt and excitement to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and gentle man.”

Ed Power from Great Britain Daily Telegraph also gives the new season of The Witcher a “fresh” rating RTbut notes that Hemsworth’s “quietly ludicrous turn is nonetheless perfectly attuned to a show that harkens back to a time when fantasy was uncool and passed for (almost) sheer stupidity.”

Sarah Dempster d Watchman also calls out Hemsworth in his “rotten” review on RTwriting, “Whereas his predecessor endowed Geralt I with a gruff likeability, Geralt II is less a ‘brave man-mountain grappling with responsibilities beyond our abilities’ and more ‘a bollard in a wig.’

Chase Hutchinson of Pack also gives Charmer Season 4 is a “rotten” review on RT, which writes that where Henry Cavill “brought a real presence to the role – able to be wildly funny one moment and believably brutal the next – Hemsworth is just the anchor around the whole experience that makes Charmer he can’t break free.
