Open source software core
The aim is to limit dependence on technology companies such as Google, which are increasingly attracting manufacturers (Renault, Volvo, Cadillac, etc.). The intention is to develop a common software core that each mark can use as a base, and then add its own “layer” later. Of course, the big advantage of this design in the settlement is the advantage of cost, much less important than if the software was created separately. This software base is open to all. According to the automotive media, discussions with the French automotive sector (PFA) are underway.
Application in serial cars since 2030
Tesla actually a puppet: Autonomous driving could be an integral part of our daily life as a motorist in several years.
